There's another K-pop survival show headed your way, this time from JYP Entertainment!

According to Naver, the agency will launch a new series to form their next male group on Mnet on October 17.

The concept of the show appears to be similar to Sixteen, which documented the creation of TWICE.

JYP has promised that fans will get a chance to see the trainees' daily lives in their dorm and that there will also be "mysterious missions" designed to test the trainees.

Also airing this October is the KBS survival show Idol Rebooting Project: The Unit, which is designed to give 'failed idols' a second chance at stardom.

YG Entertainment is also working on a survival show of their own with the same PD behind Produce 101
