After signing with GNI Entertainment in early 2017, K-pop boy group MADTOWN have filed a lawsuit against the company.

According to Sports Chosun, MADTOWN started the process of a lawsuit against GNI earlier this year and the group intends to terminate their contracts with the company. It is reported that the group are in a "wretched" state as they're not involved in any kind of activity, including broadcast appearances, events, album preparations, or practices. Furthermore, MADTOWN's home and fan pages have remained untouched with no one to provide updates.

This comes as another blow to GNI in 2017. Earlier this year, it was reported that the company's CEO was charged with fraud and other criminal offences.
