Marvel’s legendary comic book creator and film executive Stan Lee is coming to Australia.
Lee will appear at Supanova in Brisbane for a general Q&A session, and photo and signing opportunities. Recently, he produced this season’s The Reflection, a superhero anime series by Studio Deen (Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto, Log Horizon, Hoozuki’s Coolheadedness) and Fruits Basket and X-Men anime director Hiroshi Nagahama.
Lee is best known for co-creating Marvel’s iconic superheroes, including Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man, Daredevil and the X-Men. In 1994, he was inducted into the Eisner Awards Hall of Fame, and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1995.
Since 1990, he’s worked on Marvel’s film and animation adaptations as an executive producer. Lee has appeared in nearly every film and TV show property, including cameos in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man (1990) and Disney’s Big Hero Six.
Lee joins other announced guests: Tyler Hoechlin (Supergirl, Teen Wolf); the man behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ BB-8, Brian Herring; voice actor Johnny Yong Bosch (Bleach, Code Geass, Persona 4: Golden); and Critical Role’s Laura Bailey (Final Fantasy XIII-2, Persona 4: Golden, Infamous: Second Son) and Travis Willingham (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Naruto Shippuden, Fire Emblem: Awakening).
Brisbane Supanova will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on November 10-12.
