Rising girl group LOONA are the first idols confirmed to join YG Entertainment's upcoming survival show/audition program, Mix Nine.
According to Naver, three members from the group will appear on the program, which is set to premiere on JTBC in October.
The show is being produced by Han Dong Chul, who previously worked on Produce 101, Show Me The Money, and Unpretty Rapstar. YG's own Yang Hyun Suk will also be heavily involved in Mix Nine, but little else is known about the show just yet.
For those of you that don't know, LOONA is an upcoming 12-member girl group that haven't even officially debuted yet. Instead, they've been gradually unveiling their members through monthly solo and sub-unit album releases. They'll debut in full once all 12 members have been revealed.
Their next release is from the three-member sub-unit Odd Eye Circle, who will release a mini-album on September 21st.
In addition to their music activities, LOONA have also released a web drama and currently have an ongoing sponsorship deal with beauty brand Innisfree.
Do you think LOONA joining YG's show is a good move?
