American talk show host/comedian/political satirist Bill Maher combines politics and jokes with current events in the media every week on his popular HBO show Real Time With Bill Maher, and making a surprise cameo on the show was none other than Red Velvet!

During a recent episode in which Maher hosted a comedic segment called "Would you rather they were president?," the talk show host listed a number of individuals he would rather have as U.S president than Donald Trump.

After hilariously naming individuals like “the guy who hangs out at Starbucks with his cockatoo" and “the worlds least convincing superman impersonator," Maher surprised K-pop fans everywhere when he named "anyof the members of the K-pop group Red Velvet" as a better presidential candidate than Trump.

Needless to say, fans were surprised to see Red Velvet be name dropped on a show like Real Time With Bill Maher and they took to Twitter to share their thoughts, some positive and some not so positive:

This is obviously a joke but since we're talking hypotheticals and funny stuff, Wendy would make a great candidate because not only is she super smart, but she's actually received an award from former president Barack Obama for her excellent grades!
