Stealing our hearts both on-stage and on-screen!

It’s finally here! Australia’s first ever KCON is happening in Sydney! For those lucky enough to be going, the KCON line-up is pretty damn impressive – I’m ready to pass out already.

Beyond wowing us with their crazy ability to do high-intensity moves AND sing at the same time (honestly, how???), some of the members have also stolen hearts through their K-drama roles.

Here's 10 KCON acts who have captured our hearts in K-dramas:

1. Hyeri: Girl’s Day

Hyeri played the absolutely meme-y Duk Sun in Reply 1988. When it was revealed that her character ultimately ends up with Taek (played by Park Bo Gum), there was mass confusion and weeping for Kim Jung Hwa (played by Ryu Jun Yeol) who also loved her. All good though, Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol were confirmed to be dating IRL in August!

2. Yura: Girl’s Day

Yura stars in Be Arrogant/Dodohara, a K-drama about three people in a love triangle who run an online fashion store. Word on the street is that this drama features a hectic chick-mance (or whatever the opposite of bromance is).

3. Minah: Girl’s Day

It’s hard to imagine Girl’s Day's Minah as awkward and jobless, but this is exactly what she becomes in Beautiful Gong Shim. Although, tbh, she’s still not really that awkward or jobless because, well, she’s Minah. This drama is a great source of hilarious out-of-context screenshots.

4. Kai: EXO

Kai’s most recent drama Andante airs its first episode on September 24. In this drama, Kai plays a high schooler who is uprooted from life in the city. It’ll be strange seeing Kai as a high schooler after seeing his moves (and biceps) in "Ko Ko Bop" and "Power," but still, Kai hwaiting!

5. Baekhyun: EXO

Baekhyun plays the Tenth Imperial Prince Wang Eun in Scarlet Heart: Moon Lovers Ryeo, a historical drama featuring time travel, angst, and more death than expected. He pines after IU’s character (same tbh), banters with his wife and...we won't spoil the ending for you (but why must writer's be SO CRUEL)??

6. Chanyeol: EXO

Chanyeol plays a solo artist in Missing Nine, a drama about nine plane crash survivors getting stranded on a deserted island. This drama is another excellent example of writers making us cry. At least we can be comforted by how cute Chanyeol was in the drama.

7. Bona: Cosmic Girls

You may have seen Bona in recent drama The Best Hit, where she plays Hyeri, a trainee with heaps of talent and amazing visuals (hang on, isn’t that just Bona irl?). Most recently, Bona has taken on a lead role in Girls’ Generation 1979, which began airing on September 11.

8. Park Ji Hoon: Wanna One

Before he won over the nation’s heart during the second season of Produce 101, Park Ji Hoon was a (super cute!) actor who briefly appeared in both The King and I, Jumong and Iljimae.

9. Rowoon: SF9

Despite limited screen time, Rowoon managed to make us swoon in the - recently finished - School 2017.

10. Chani: SF9

Chani has been in an impressive amount of dramas, most recently Signal. His performance in Signal was a scene stealer.
