Every day there seems to be more casting news for the upcoming survival show for 'failed idols,' The Unit. The latest batch of stars to confirm their participation on the KBS series might be the most impressive yet, with a mix of notable idols and a few blasts from the past.

Among them are Jisun, who was an original member of Girl's Day before joining the short-lived girl group New.F.O.

According to Naver, former APRIL member Hyunjoo has also signed on. The 19-year-old was APRIL's original visual and promoted with the group for about a year before leaving to become an actress.

HOTSHOT'S Timoteo and Hojung have confirmed their participation too after member Sungwoon placed No. 11 on season two of Produce 101 and made it into Wanna One.

Other stars joining include girl group Melody Day, soloist N.CA, and Tiny-G's Mint.

Meanwhile, Heo Chanmi, best known for being a member of Co-Ed School and F-ve Dolls, as well as one of the breakout stars of Produce 101, has joined YG Entertainment's survival show Mix9

Mix9 and The Unit will premiere in late October.
