BTS have stated a number of times that one of their big goals is to make it into the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart with one of their singles, and now the boys have managed to fulfill that goal with the release of "DNA!"

For the week dated October 7, 2017, BTS have managed to earn their first ever entry into the Billboard Hot 100 song chart with their new single "DNA," which came in at No.85 on the strength of 5.3 million U.S streams and 14,000 downloads. Not only does this mark the first song by a Korean artist to land in the Hot 100 in two years, but BTS are now just the second K-pop act to have a fully Korean-language song on the chart since PSY's "Gangnam Style" in 2012.

Shortly after BTS made their debut on the Billboard Hot 100, fans around the world began celebrating the group's big achievement, causing the hashtag #BTSHOT100 to trend worldwide on Twitter.

As for BTS themselves, Rap Monster took to their official Twitter account to thank all their fans for making their Billboard Hot 100 dream possible, writing " teamwork makes the dream work."

A big congrats to BTS for finally landing in the Billboard Hot 100 song chart!
