The Unit, the upcoming survival show for 'failed idols,' has an amazing cast of hopefuls vying for a second chance at stardom. But beyond the contestants, the KBS show also has some of K-pop's biggest A-listers serving as mentors!

Naver reports that, joining the series as mentors are HyunA, who will teach performance, and SHINee's Taemin, who is rumoured to teach dance. San E has also joined as a rap mentor, while Hwang Chi-yeul and Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyun Ah will do vocals.

Rounding out the all-star cast is the legendary Rain, who is the program's MC.

The show's open auditions will see over 200 idols take to the stage, but only 63 males and 63 females will make it to the competition portion of the series.

In the end, nine females and nine males will survive to make up a girl group and boy band, who will then promote for seven months.

Idols from TOPSECRET, BESTie, MVP, HOTSHOT, Dal Shabet, IMFACT, Brave Girls, APRIL, DIA, Wassup, T-ara, SPICA, Boyfriend, and many more will participate in the show.

Are you excited?
