According to the official Seven Deadly Sins website, the new anime season, Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments is coming soon!

Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments follows directly after the Signs of Holy War season. After a group of powerful demon warriors known as the Ten Commandments awaken from being petrified for 3 thousand years, the world of the living must ban together to take down a powerful threat.

Case Closed and Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War episode director Takeshi Furata will act as Director with Assistant Director Tomoya Tanaka (Hunter x Hunter 2011, One Piece: Heart of Gold). Chief Animation Director of the original season, Kento Toya (Angel Beats, Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, Sword Art Online), and Keigo Sasaki (Blue Exorcist, xxxHolic, Naruto Shippuden: The Movie) will act as character designers for the new season, bringing to life new characters like the missing seventh member of the Seven Deadly Sins, Escanor.

J-pop artists Flow and Granrodeo will co-create the opening theme, having produced the ending to the first season. Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments will begin airing during the winter anime season on January 6.

A-1 Pictures’ anime adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki’s Seven Deadly Sins manga first debuted in 2014 and was later simulcasted on Netflix.
