Girls' Generation fans have been in a daze since members Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun decided not to renew their contracts with SM Entertainment. While nobody has any idea yet what the future of Girls' Generation will be, the news has made us all a little melancholy today and nostalgic for the good ol' days of SNSD.

With Sooyoung departing SM, it also reminded us of all the contributions she made to Girls' Generation, not only as a singer and dancer, but also as a songwriter. The 27-year-old penned several songs for the group, and even wrote one of Tiffany's solo tunes, "What Do I Do."

Sooyoung's first lyrical contribution was the ballad "How Great Is Your Love," from 2011's The Boys. She also co-wrote "Baby Maybe" and penned Girls' Generation's 9th anniversary track "Sailing (0805)."

Hopefully we get more of Sooyoung's songwriting in the future...

Check out her self-written songs below!
