Two of the most anticipated programs for K-pop fans this year are survival shows The Unit and MIXNINE, and it looks like there's a friendly rivalry brewing between the two shows.

At a press conference for The Unit this week, CP Han Kyung Chun was asked about the difference between his show and YG Entertainment's MIXNINE

"We set our broadcast schedule first. Our program's aim is not to earn revenues, but to provide opportunities," he said.

Han added: "An audition program has advantages in terms of viewership and attention, but we plan on appealing to a wide spectrum of viewers."

The Unit premieres on KBS2 on October 28, followed by MIXNINE on JTCB on the 29th!
