We're only at the start of a new week, but the internet has already found its new favourite thing - a South Korean guy smashing the world record for solving a Rubik's Cube!
South Korean Rubik's Cuber SeungBeom Cho was doing his thing on day 1 of the recent Chicago ChicaGhosts 2017 Rubik's Cube event when he surprised the whole room by solving a Rubik's Cube in 4.59 seconds, easily smashing the previous record of 4.73 seconds.
This was a huge surprise because not only was this accomplished on his first round of the day, but all his other times in the competition were all above 7 seconds.
This record-breaking feat has since become one of the trending videos on YouTube, not to mention across various social media platforms, exposing SeungBeom to a legion of new fans.
A big congrats to SeungBeom for breaking the world record and subsequently being the internet's new favourite person!
