Singer-actor Lee Seung-gi has completed his mandatory military service and returned to his fans today. Hundreds of fans - some from abroad - gathered in front of the special operations command in Jeungpyeong, North Chungcheong Province to welcome the star, after one year and nine months, since entering the military.
Lee thanked his fans for coming this far to greet him and talked about his time in the military. He said he received so much support that he’s leaving the military in a well and healthy condition, adding he will use the positive energy he got from the command to now focus on his career.
The 30-year-old debuted in 2004 as a singer, with his hit debut song “Because You’re My Girl.” A few years later he began his acting career and has gained popularity on various variety shows.
Twice drops first full-length album ‘Twicestagram’
Finally! TWICE released their first full-length album yesterday, two years after their debut. It’s called "Twicestagram" a combination of TWICE and Instagram, and is also the girl group’s official Instagram name. The album is packed with 13 tracks, including the title song "Likey," a typical bubbly Twice-like piece with future electro-pop sounds, which characterises the excitement and joy one gets from “likes” on social media.
At their media showcase on Monday, TWICE expressed the anticipation they had about this album, especially as it came closely after the group’s second anniversary.
Many of the nine members have participated making the album, with Chae-young and Dahyun taking part in the rap lyrics of “Missing You,” Nayeon and Jihyo co-writing “24/7,” and Jungyeon writing “Love Line.” The girls definitely show they have matured as musicians in the short span of their career.
