Following South Korean actor Kim Joo Hyuk's fatal car accident on October 30, an autopsy was reportedly conducted on October 31 by the National Forensic Service in Korea and the results have been released by the police.
According to Etnews, the police issued a statement revealing that Kim Joo Hyuk's cause of death was a severe head injury. It is reported that the autopsy results showed no signs of the actor suffering from a heart attack, which was the initial speculated cause of death following eyewitness reports. The police have also stated that a detailed report on Kim Joo Hyuk will take approximately a week to be completed and will contain specific results regarding the actor's condition, such as whether there was any traces of alcohol or drugs in the actor's system.
The famous actor debuted in 1998 on the Seoul Broadcasting System, and went on to star in many movies and TV shows. Kim was known for his roles in many romantic comedies such as Singles, When Romance Meets Destiny and My Wife Got Married. He most recently starred as the villain in Confidential Assignment and in The Tooth and The Nail.
