There’s no doubt about it; Lee Jong Suk is an amazing actor. When he cries, we weep. When he smiles, our hearts melt into nothingness. The fact that he can make us feel these feels is a testament to just how good he is.

He’s not just good at acting and looking beautiful though. Lee Jong Suk is somehow amazingly good at avoiding all the dodgy dramas, and has instead provided us with hit drama after hit drama.

Don’t believe me? Take a look at these six.

1. School 2013 (2012/2013)

Playing a high school student who’s slightly dead inside from balancing study and work, Lee Jong Suk perfectly captures our hearts with just the right amount of angst.

2. I Can Hear Your Voice (2013)

Lee Jong Suk stars as Soo Ha, a high school senior with the biggest noona crush ever. He gained the supernatural ability to read people’s minds after witnessing his father’s murder.

3. Doctor Stranger (2014)

This time round he plays an extremely talented cardio-thoracic surgeon from North Korea. I never thought I’d fall in love with a K-drama lead after watching them physically grab a heart, but I did.

4. Pinocchio (2014/15)

Playing Dal Po, Lee Jong Suk transforms into a very good-looking rookie reporter who not only is the cutest reporter ever, but also has some serious moves! Check out this iconic toast kiss.

5. W: Two Worlds (2016)

Unbelievably handsome, good at everything, smart and all round perfect. That's his role on the hit drama W where he plays manhwa character Kang Chul, Olympic Gold Medallist, CEO and all round perfect hero.

6. While You Were Sleeping (2017)

Arguably the biggest drama of the year, Lee Jong Suk is reminding us that there’s nothing hotter than morally grounded legal reasoning and a strong sense of justice <3
