As we inch towards the end of 2017, there is one inevitable thing closing in that all K-pop fans are dreading: BIGBANG's military enlistment. We knew it was always coming ever since T.O.P enlisted at the start of the year, and now we may have an approximate end date as to when the group will say good bye for two years.
BIGBANG recently kicked off their latest Japan concert tour a few nights ago on November 18 and 19 where the boys held concerts at Japan's Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome, and it was during these shows that G-Dragon addressed the audience about the topic of their military enlistment.
According to Japanese media outlet SANSPO, the BIGBANG leader reportedly dropped the bombshell that the boys plan to enlist this upcoming Spring. However, rather than seeing their enlistment as goodbye, G-Dragon implored their fans to not "think of this as a farewell, but please look forward to the day we meet again."
This isn't farewell just yet, BIGBANG, but we'll wait for as long as it takes to see you all together again!
