CLC may be known for being a talented K-pop girl group who is as talented as they are versatile, but what is lesser known about the girls is their great volunteer work, particularly their efforts in raising awareness for childhood diabetes.
According to WowTV, the Korean National Assembly held its annual Childhood Diabetes Academic Forum and Scholarship Presentation in conjunction with World Diabetes Day (November 14). CLC were in attendance at the event and the girls were recognised for their volunteer work in raising awareness for childhood diabetes, earning praise from the officials present.
In regards to the recognition of their work, CLC reportedly stated "It has been a meaningful opportunity being able to spend time with children with diabetes since being appointed as the ambassador for childhood diabetes awareness last year. We were happy being able to just be with the children and are embarrassed to receive a special commendation from the mayor of Seoul. We will continue to work hard for children with childhood diabetes.”
CLC: Talented and kind-hearted in equal measure!
