It's been a few years since every EXO-L's heart was broken when Kris Wu announced that he was leaving EXO, but the big question that remains is whether he still keeps in touch with his former group members.

Well, the answer may not be the one fans want to hear.

In a new interview with DJ Gabby Diaz, who hosts a radio show on San Francisco radio station Wild 94.9, Kris Wu talked a bit about his past with EXO and the reasons why he left, saying he didn't quite fit in with the Korean culture as he's Chinese and that he didn't have the creative freedom to do what he wanted to do when he was with EXO.

When asked by Gabby whether he still keeps in touch with his former EXO members or if he and the group have moved on and are doing their own separate thing now, Kris confirmed that it is the latter with a simple "yeah" before talking about the difference about working solo in China compared to his time in a K-pop group.

It probably isn't too surprising that Kris Wu doesn't keep in touch with his former EXO members given how he's really branched out beyond his former group, but it's still sad nonetheless...
