For those who are unaware, the overall concept of NCT is to have an unlimited number of members who are divided into sub-units based in various cities worldwide. With that in mind, it looks like SM Entertainment have got plans for its next NCT sub-unit and Vietnamese fans will be pleased with what's to come!
SM CEO Lee Soo Man gave a keynote speech at the recent Maekyung Vietnam Forum, and it was here that he revealed plans for a "Vietnamese" version of NCT as part of the company's plans to promote V-pop.
According to the SM CEO, there are plans to form NCT Vietnam and for the group to become a "star of Asia." As for who will be part of this new Vietnamese NCT sub-unit, SM will be scouting for members in Vietnam in order to train them up.
Having previously revealed plans for additional NCT sub-units, including an NCT Indonesia, it certainly appears that SM have some ambitious plans for the group and we're super stoked to see what happens in the future!
