My Hero Academia is getting an original anime movie and video game.

As reported by Crunchyroll, Studio Bones will produce an anime original film based on the series scheduled for sometime next year. Little is known about the film but after the Tsuyu-special anime original episode, we wouldn’t be surprised if it filled the gaps between the TV series seasons and the manga.

Namco Bandai announced a My Hero Academia fighting game earlier in the week, called My Hero Academia: One’s Justice. The game will release on PlayStation 4 and features characters from Class 1-A and the League of Villains fighting in one vs one matches. According to Siliconera, Namco Bandai will release more information in a trailer at Jump Festa 2018 on December 16.

The company also confirmed they are developing adventure games based on Black Clover and One Piece for the PlayStation 4 and PC, respectively titled Black Clover: Project Knights and One Piece: World Seeker. More information of those will also be revealed at Jump Festa.

Given My Hero Academia’s rising popularity, this news isn’t surprising. The first two seasons were received overwhelmingly by fans and the series has quickly become one of the best new shonen series.

Based on Kohei Horikoshi’s manga of the same name, My Hero Academia follows Deku, a quirkless boy who dreams of being a hero like the number one superhero, All Might. After being inherited the All for One power; an ability granting him super-strength, Deku sets out on his journey to become the number one hero.

The third season of My Hero Academia airs early next year.
