Many SM artists, BTS, Epik High, Zico, and IU were among the many idols who attended Jonghyun's memorial service.

Following confirmation of Jonghyun's death on December 18, SM Entertainment set up a venue at the Asan Medical Centre Funeral Hall in Seoul in order to allow fans and fellow idols to pay their final respects to the SHINee singer.

Among the many fans who attended Jonghyun's memorial service, several of his fellow K-pop idols and SM label mates were seen paying their respects. In addition to K-pop idols, condolence wreaths were sent through from many entertainment companies including Big HitYGJYPCJ, FNCMystic, and B2M
