December 21 was the day of Jonghyun's funeral, where friends, family, and fans said their final farewells to the SHINee singer. However, a strange celestial event happened on the same day as Jonghyun's funeral, something that gave Shawols everywhere some comfort that the singer will be alright.

For those who are unaware, pearl aqua green is the official fanclub colour of SHINee and on December 21 in Japan, fans noticed that a pearl aqua green dot had appeared in the daylight sky. While there is no explanation as to where the pearl aqua green dot came from, it could be seen across various locations in the country and photos were quickly shared online by fans.

After seeing the strange pearl aqua green dot in the sky, Shawols around the world found it to be a comforting sight as many saw it as a sign that Jonghyun had safely "made it home safe."
