The Mask Singer trended
The Mask Singer trended this year. Its second season “Until we will become dust - Oyster Mask” made its way to Top Trending Videos on YouTube with 195 million views.
Aside from music, Thai fashion has been making a name internationally.
In recent years, celebrities like Michelle Obama and Katy Perry have donned fashion from Bangkok’s designers. Whilst famous designers like Thakoon Panichgul and Koi Suwannagate made their mark on the red carpet.
Miss Thailand, Maria Poonlertlarp, dressed in Thai-inspired dress to compete at Miss Universe, using Thai silks. She only missed the final three round of Miss Universe.
Michelin Star just came to Thailand and Jay Fai got one star with a popular dish - crab omelettes - they cost 1000 Baht.
2017 was sent off with music festivals such as Wonderfruit, and in beer gardens in areas throughout Bangkok. The countdown also included, for the first time ever, an EDM countdown with names like Afrojack.

It was a big year for our favourite Thai rockers, who have been touring the world, in 2017. Slot Machine toured in the U.S, Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore and more. The boys are now back in Bangkok and working on new material. They're ones to watch in 2018!
