With rickshaws, tuk tuks, trucks and cars on the road, India's roads are pretty chaotic. However, there's one man doing his best to curb India's crazy traffic.

And he's doing it using Michael Jackson's dance moves!

Ranjeet Singh, is a 38-year-old traffic cop who helps control the traffic on Indian roads by moonwalking!

Working in Indore, an Indian city populated by over 2 million people, Singh says that he's a big fan of Michael Jackson and incorporated the moonwalk into his traffic cop routine 12 years ago. Singh says people were surprised initially but it has since gained an incredible amount of popularity. Dancing while working everyday isn't easy. It's tiring and stressful when trying to avoid being hit by traffic, but Singh says that it is rewarding since he is saving lives with his moves, not to mention that his dancing amuses commuters and drivers.

Not only are videos of Singh doing the moonwalk in the middle of heavy Indian traffic making the rounds on the internet, the dancing traffic cop has become something of a social media figure with over 27,000 people following his official Facebook page.

As for whether his dancing has worked in decreasing the number of traffic violations, Singh says that it actually has and that the intersection where he works on most days has seen a drop in offences. In fact, an Indian university is conducting studies on whether Singh's dancing methods have assisted in cutting traffic jams.

Moral of the story: dance like Michael Jackson at your job and everything will be all the better for it!
