The CNBLUE member was recently involved in controversy regarding his enrollment in graduate school.

The last few weeks have seen CNBLUE's Yonghwa involved in controversy over what favouritism in regards to his admission in graduate school.

Following the controversy, questions were raised in regards to Yonghwa's future and what his next steps are. In response to all this, his company FNC Entertainment have issued out a statement announcing that Yonghwa will be enlisting in the military on March 5, 2018.

FNC stated that due to this decision to enlist from Yonghwa, all of the CNBLUE member's scheduled solo concerts and appearances with CNBLUE have been canceled.
