The struggle is very pure and very real

It's hard being a K-drama addict: you're always waiting for the Episode 12 kiss, your eyes hurt from reading subtitles way too late at night, your dreams have become a weird mash of all the different shows you're binging, AND your friends just don't get it.

For those K-drama fans who've tried to get their friends involved, you'll be familiar with this process...

First your friends (innocently) ask: what are you watching these days?

You try to be chill while casually explaining the plotline to your current binge fave

They don't look impressed

So you try to hook them in with some pics of the cute leads

At this point they're finding it hard to grasp the general concept of the shows you watch. There's NOTHING wrong with a man falling in love with a robot who is actually human, ok???

Your friends begin to distance themselves and learn to never ask about your viewing habits.

But you know what? You're perfectly happy in your K-drama bubble. So just settle in and keep watching!
