EXO will be performing at the closing ceremony of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, and yesterday they gave a press conference discussing their feelings in the lead-up to the big event.
Suho said: "It is a great honour to be able to perform at the closing ceremony. We found out about the news a while back, and have been preparing hard ever since. Please look forward to our stage."
He also mentioned the Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva, who has spoken about her love for EXO, saying: "We gifted her with a signed CD through our manager and she talked a lot about us during interviews. We hope that she will compete safely and in good health."
Baekhyun added that there's definitely nerves amongst the group: "I felt like we had to prepare extra hard for the closing ceremony. It is an honorable position no doubt, but we do feel pressure on the other hand. I am so excited to just think about our stage this coming Sunday."
Suho even suggested they'll be getting a bit emotional when it all happens: "None of EXO's members even existed during the Summer Olympics held in Seoul back in 1988. I can't believe that we actually get to perform at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. It's brand new to us and I think we might end up crying in the end."
EXO and CL will perform at the closing ceremony on Sunday 25 February.
