As we grow older we forget that our favourite k-pop idols are also aging with us no matter how good they look.

Here are idols who hit the big 3-0 in 2018.

G-Dragon (BIGBANG)

Born: August 18 1988

G-Dragon started his military enlistment recently and has already received so much fan mail that the training centre he’s in is having trouble handling the amount of letters which forced YG Entertainment to ask fans to calm down.

Taeyang (BIGBANG)

Born: May 18 1988

Taeyang got married to his long-term girlfriend Min Hyo Rin on February 3 becoming the first BIGBANG member to tie to knot. Taeyang entered the military as an active-duty soldier on March 12.

Kyuhyun (Super Junior)

Born: February 3 1988

Kyuhyun enlisted in the military on the 25th of May 2017. He’s the last Super Junior member to complete his enlistment due to him being the youngest and his ‘Radio Star’ MC position is currently been taken over by actor Cha Tae-hyun in his absence.

Uee (Former After School member)

Born: April 9 1988

Uee has become an accomplished actor, being praised for her ability to immerse herself into her characters for her performances. She was nominated for the Daesung (grand prize) award for her work in Marriage Contract at the MBC Drama Awards and has also starred in popular variety show Law of the Jungle.

Taecyeon (2PM)

Born: December 27 1988

Taecyeon yet another idol who is currently completing his mandatory military training, he started on September 4 2017 working as an active-duty solider. All the members of 2PM have renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment besides Taecyeon who will consider the renewal after he gets discharged from the army.

Changmin (TVXQ)

Born: February 18 1988

Changmin started his military enlistment a little earlier than usual due to fellow TVXQ member Yunho needing to enlist first due to him being older. They both registered in July 2015 and were discharged only a few months apart with Yunho coming out first in April 2017 and Changmin in August 2017.

Eric Nam

Born: November 17 1988

In 2016, Eric Nam won GQ’s Korean Man of the Year and also Best Couple at the MBC Entertainment Awards with MAMAMOO’s Solar for their time together on We Got Married. Since then he has gone on to release multiple collaboration singles with Jeon So-mi (former I.O.I), Wendy (Red Velvet), Seohyun (Girls’ Generation) and Tablo (Epik High).

Eunjung (T-ARA)

Born: December 12 1988
