27 Mar 2018 - 4:11 PM  UPDATED 27 Mar 2018 - 4:11 PM

Jackson has come a long way since he was recognised as one of the most hilarious member of GOT7 in his rookie days. He has now founded his own agency in China called ‘Team Wang’ where he releases his solo music while also working with GOT7, so he’s quite the busy man!

Here's some more facts about the one and only Jackson Wang.

1. His father was a former coach for the Hong Kong national fencing team while his mother was a gold medalist at the World Gymnastics Championships. Jackson was a former member of the national fencing team for Hong Kong winning multiple titles but gave it all up to become an idol. (I think we can agree he made the right decision)

2. Jackson is close with a lot of fellow idols in the industry including Amber (f(x)), Henry (Super Junior), RM (BTS) and former EXO members Kris, Tao and Luhan just to name a few. (He’s very friendly and isn’t shy when it comes to talking to just about anyone)

3. His favourite movie is Miracle in Cell No. 7, the movie is quite sad and Jackson ended up crying when he watched it.

4. Jackson was once caught liking a raunchy photo on Instagram by his fans and when he realised his mistake he unliked the photo immediately (classic Jackson!).

5. He likes to eat hamburgers, chicken and dim sum but can’t handle spicy foods. (He also loves cheese!)

6. Jackson is immensely popular in China, he’s been successful with his solo music career there and has already become one of their top celebrities starring on multiple variety and survival shows. (He’s literally everywhere in China!)

7. Before his debut Jackson gave us comical videos of himself washing the dishes, being told off by a teacher and his legendary popping dance.

8. Jackson is quickly becoming one of the most followed male idols on Instagram with his total now reaching 9 million followers. (He is the most followed individual member of GOT7)

9. He is able to speak multiple languages including Korean, English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese and French. (Making him the perfect travel buddy)

10. When Jackson was first introduced on television, his screen name was J-Flawless. (Some fans still call him this name)

11. He was a part of a parody group called Big Byung created by Jeong Hyeong-don and Defconn. The members included Jackson (GOT7), Sungjae (BTOB) with N and Hyuk (VIXX).
