Former EXO member Kris Wu has taken a massive step in his career, getting signed to Interscope Records, who are part of Universal Music Group, as well as Island Records in the UK.

The rapper announced the new signing in an Instagram post saying "Starting a new chapter with @universalmusicgroup, @interscope and @islandrecordsuk. More music is on the way!"

Kris Wu has been making waves in the US with his previous solo releases "Deserve" featuring Travis Scott and "Juice" which featured in the xXx: Return of Xander Cage soundtrack. 

Interscope Records is also home to some of the biggest names in music from Maroon 5 to Lady Gaga, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar.
