iKON and MOMOLAND have topped the Genie music chart's mid-year rankings, reports Soompi.

iKON were the top male idol group of the year thanks to their hit "Love Scenario," which spent 35 days at the top of the chart, while MOMOLAND's viral hit "Bboom Bboom" made them the top girl group of the year.

BTS, TWICE, and Red Velvet also did well, with each artist having three songs in the top 100.

A source from Genie said: "Idol groups are leading the music trends of today, making up 24 percent of the top 100 songs.”

Congrats to all the successful artists this year!
