LOONA are here and they say hi (high)

LOONA have made their official debut as a full group with the electro-pop song "Hi High".

They've also given a bit of an explanation as to how all the subunits come together to form one LOONA. In the description box of their YouTube video, it's explained that LOONA [+ +] represents the power of LOONA 1/3, ODD EYE CIRCLE, yyxy and YeoJin gathering as one.

It also reads: "LOONA was not born in its own universe with three uniquely structured teams. In other words, it was not designed as a group divided up into three units, but three teams were built to create one universe".

Furthermore they've explained the themes behind each unit. LOONA 1/3 is the girls on planet earth, presenting the most realistic scenes that can be found on the streets everyday or in school. HeeJin, HyunJin, HaSeul and ViVi start their journeys in France, Japan, Iceland and Hong Kong to become united as one.

ODD EYE CIRCLE is between the earth and cosmos and features girls who show themselves by taking control in love relationships instead of waiting passively.

yyxy is further out in the LOONAverse, in what they call 'Edenism'. But in this story, the girls of Eden deny the rules of the place to venture off on a forbidden quest to find their identities. The emotions from each girl of faith, hope, love and anger make to form a being named yyxy.

Wow, okay, let's take a breath.

There's definitely more than that, making LOONA's debut one of the most thought-out and complex of recent K-pop times. But for now, check out the new single and have a read of their description of the song too!
