Old classics and newer ones too!

One of the most fun things to see is K-pop idols covering one another's songs. There's something about seeing popular songs reinterpreted by different artists that can make you love the original even more.

On Reddit, fans discussed songs they often see other idols covering. Here's some of the songs we think are the most covered by K-pop idols.

1. TVXQ!: Mirotic

So many boy bands have covered this TVXQ! classic, it's hard to choose just one. From Monsta X to B.A.P, EXO-M, BTOB and Cosmic Girls, it's hard to find someone who hasn't covered it really!

2. Park Ji Yoon: Coming of Age Ceremony

This song has some pretty sexy undertones and it's one of the most loved K-pop songs of all time. So no surprise that idols love covering it! 9MUSES nailed it on Music Bank, and even BTS' Jimin and JK have had a go at it.

3. Kim Sung Jae: As I Told You

Kim Sung Jae was a first generation idol, part of hip-hop group Deux, who met a tragic end when found dead the day after he performed this song on a music program. His death is still an unsolved mystery, but the song became a hit in Korea and is covered to this day. Idols often don hockey gear when they perform it, in homage to his music show attire.

4. Super Junior: Sorry Sorry

The dance for this is so iconic, it's basically a prerequisite for idol groups to cover it like a rite of passage. If there's an idol group you like, odds are they've performed "Sorry Sorry" somewhere. Whether it's SM artists like NCT and EXO, junior groups like Wanna One  or a massive stage featuring Lee Teuk dancing with BTS, GFRIEND and TWICE!

5. Girls' Generation: Into The New World

Girls' Generation have numerous iconic songs that are covered all the time by new groups - "Gee" is another one that comes to mind. The song is especially popular for competitions like Produce 101as well as with younger girl groups like TWICE, I.O.I, Red Velvet & GFRIEND  all together, and Dreamcatcher.

6. EXO: Growl

This is a third generation idol go-to when it comes to covers. The groups that were establishing themselves a couple years ago all have their "Growl" cover, from KNK with Snuper and ASTRO to newbies ATEEZ and SM labelmates NCT Dream

7. BIGBANG: Bang Bang Bang

Girl groups have actually covered this one a fair bit, including Cosmic Girls, MOMOLAND and gugudan. Recently Dreamcatcher got a lot of attention for their excellent cover too.

8. H.O.T: Candy

Many late-second and early-third generation idols kicked off their careers covering this song because it is catchy as can be. Want proof? Watch BIGBANG cover it and be the cutest beans in all the land. There's also very fun performances from Super Junior, SHINee and UP10TION  out there.

9. Wonder Girls: Tell Me

Released in 2008 and an absolute hit, it still holds up as a catchy pop song that girl groups especially love to cover.

10. Rain: Rainism

Rain is considered the king of idols in the eyes of many, and for good reason. He dominated charts and even dipped a toe into international success at his peak. There's a definite sense of nostalgia to seeing "Rainism" performed by young artists, and you can't help but love it.

11. So Chan Wee: Tears

This song is popular for covers because its vocal range is notoriously tough. Being able to perform it well is the equivalent of proving yourself as an extremely talented vocalist. Plenty of idols have taken their shot at it, and a number of male vocalists like BTOB's Eunkwang have gotten it right. Nothing compares to EXO's Chen nailing it though.

12. Taemin: Move

The song is little over a year old but it's already a fave among so many artists. A dance that's equal parts sensual and technically difficult, there's been some great covers including Kim Dong Han and B.A.P's Bang Yong Guk, but the real hit was Sunmi's version with Taemin himself.
