Melon Music has been posting their 2018 record lists and one of the most interesting has been their reveal of which songs had the most listeners within the first 10 minutes of being released.

The top spot went to IU and her recent song "BBI BBI" which had 53,854 people streaming on Melon within the first 10 minutes of its release. In second place was BIGBANG with "Flower Road", which had 51,301 people by 8.10pm after releasing at 8pm. Finally in third was BTS and "FAKE LOVE" which had 47,077 people listening.

BIGBANG's "Flower Road" also came in third for the song with the longest consecutive #1 on the Melon Daily Chart, with 17 days of taking the top spot.

YG artists dominated that category overall, with BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" being #1 for 29 days and iKON's "Love Scenario" taking first on 21 days back-to-back.

What an exciting year for music!
