IU has been on her 10th anniversary tour recently, and at her Singapore show on December 16, she paid tribute to the late Jonghyun ahead of the one-year anniversary of his passing.

During the concert, IU sang her song "Gloomy Clock" taken from her third album Modern Times, which was composed by Jonghyun and sung by both him and IU.

Before singing the song, IU gave a short speech saying the song was a special addition to the setlist, stating: "The next song actually wasn't in my setlist but I prepared it because I've been thinking about this one a lot recently. This song has been a great comfort to me since the moment I met it... I really hope this song will reach the person I really miss".

She changed her mic to an aqua pearl one to represent SHINee's official colour and sang the song with the original backing vocals from Jonghyun.

She also changed the lyrics at one point to say "Jonghyun shines". You can watch the video below.
