After reports spread online of EXO's D.O. reportedly leaving SM Entertainment, the agency have come forth to refute the claims.

It was reported by The Asia Business Daily that D.O. had been discussing contract renewal with SM Entertainment and chosen not to renew.

A representative from SM Entertainment has commented: "The report is completely false. We will release an official statement soon". They also mentioned that EXO still have a lot of time left before their contracts expire.

D.O. has gained popularity outside of the group with his acting roles. His 2018 drama 100 Days My Prince became the fifth highest rating K-drama in Korean cable television history.

Stay tuned for more as it's revealed.
