New reports also accuse him of gambling abroad

New reports have accused Seungri of gambling overseas and providing sexual escort services to his business partner, with messages dating back to 2014.

Media outlet Sisa Journal has revealed messages that include Seungri and his business partner from 2014 known as "A". The pair discuss how much money they've won while gambling in the US and when they'll be returning to Korea. South Korea is bound by the Territorial Principle, meaning Korean citizens can be punished for gambling abroad even if its legal in the country where they do gamble.

The messages relating to sexual services were reportedly exchanged in August 2014, with the two men discussing which woman they should take with them on a trip to Indonesia. Seungri provided photos and information about the women such as ages, jobs and personalities, and told his business partner to choose a woman.

Some of the messages Seungri sent read as: “No. 1 doesn’t talk a lot and likes money a little too much. She was also not very charming while getting drinks together. However, her visuals are great.” Another says, “No. 3 … her visuals are great and she is cheerful. She is also good and fun when we are out to drink. One flaw is that she is a mess when she’s drunk.” Seungri also adds, “I think No. 3 is good because she is bubbly.”

His business partner replied with: “What about No. 2, 4, and 5? Do you think we should meet up with one from No. 2, 4, and 5 one more time without No. 1? We need someone who is bubbly like No. 3.”  Seungri then suggested 'No.5'.

Seungri is undergoing questioning with Seoul police as of March 14, regarding charges including violating anti-prostitution laws.
