Former FTISLAND member Choi Jong Hoon has been booked for violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment etc, of Sexual Crimes, with police suspecting him of filming a sex video without consent and sharing six illegal videos. Five of the shared videos were shared with him by someone else, and one was footage he filmed himself.

The police booked Choi Jong Hoon on charges of sharing pornography but added on the sexual crimes charge when investigations revealed he had filmed a sexual act on a hidden camera without consent.

Choi Jong Hoon shared the illegal videos in several chatrooms, not only the one including Seungri and Jung Joon Young. He has already been booked for attempted police bribery following a drunk driving incident in 2016, and for sharing illegally taken hidden camera footage.
