MONSTA X have got themselves another hit release in Japan!

The seven-member Starship Entertainment boy group recently released the Japanese edition of "Shoot Out", and after reaching No.1 on Tower Records daily chart and No.2 on Oricon's daily singles chart, they've replicated the same success for the weekly charts!

As of April 3, "Shoot Out" took No.1 on Tower Records weekly chart and No.2 on Oricon's weekly singles chart. It also got to No.2 on Billboard Japan's Hot 100.

The two-song single includes the Japanese version of "Shoot Out", originally released in Korean in October 2018, as well as a song titled "Flash Back".

MONSTA X's popularity in Japan has been steadily growing since their 2017 debut with a Japanese version of "Hero". Their sixth Korean album, "The Connect" ranked No.1 on Tower Records daily sales chart and their Japanese single "Spotlight" has been certified gold. Their 2018 album Piece also ranked No.1 on Tower Records and Oricon weekly charts.

Looks like Japan can't get enough of MONSTA X!

The group will be in Australia in June 2019 for their We Are Here tour, check out the details here.
