BTS have spoken about the role of senior artists in helping them forge a successful career globally, at their recent press conference.

The seven-member boy group held a global press conference in Seoul on April 17 to celebrate the release of their album Map of the Soul: Persona

One of the questions posed to the group was about whether they felt pressure in their current position, as they continue down the road of international success.

Jin answered the question, saying: "The reason we have been able to forge this path is not because we were suddenly put into this place. We were able to do it because of the senior artists before us who opened this path".

He also openly said that the group does feel a lot of pressure, adding: "We are working to let go of the pressure by working hard on our music and performances. Because our fans support us, we are able to work hard while feeling less pressure".

BTS will begin their Korean promotions for "Boy With Luv" with an M Countdown special on April 18. They'll also be performing at the Billboard Music Awards on May 1 with Halsey.
