Police officially requested an arrest warrant for the celebrity on April 9

Police have added charges of receiving prostitution services to their request for Seungri's pre-trial arrest warrant.

On May 8, the Seoul Metropolitan Police announced they'd formally requested an arrest warrant on suspicion of soliciting prostitution services to lobby foreign investors and embezzlement of funds from Burning Sun and Monkey Museum nightclubs.

On May 9, the police alleged that Seungri has received prostitution services himself, which took place when he was arranging prostitution services for Japanese investors in 2015, and added it to the list of charges in their arrest warrant.

Police are still investigating other suspicions of Seungri mediating prostitution services, outside of the 2015 occurrence and his 2017 birthday party in Palawan.
