AOA's agency, FNC Entertainment, have confirmed that Mina will be leaving the group.

Jimin, Yuna, Hyejeong, Seolhyun and Chanmi have all chosen to renew their contracts with the agency, however Mina will be leaving to pursue a different path according to the agency. FNC Entertainment asked fans to continue supporting her in her individual ventures.

FNC Entertainment confirmed that AOA will continue as five members, and asked fans to continue giving their support to the girl group.

AOA originally debuted in 2012 with eight members, but have been promoting as six after members Youkyung and Choa left the group in October 2016 and June 2017 respectively.

Their most recent comeback was in May 2018 with fifth mini-album Bingle Bangle, which peaked at No.3 on Korea's Gaon Weekly Album Chart and at No.10 on Billboard's World Albums chart.
