Park Yoochun has received a suspended prison sentence in relation to his drug case.

The idol has been sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years. If he commits any crimes in the next two years, he will be sent to prison. He has also been fined 1.4 million won (approx. AUD1728).

The JYJ member and solo artist was found guilty of purchasing Philopon, a form of methamphetamine, on three occasions, and injecting the drug seven times. He was accused of doing so with his former girlfriend, Hwang Hana.

In an interview with reporters after the hearing, he apologised to the public and stated he will live honestly and diligently.

Park Yoochun's contract with C-JeS Entertainment was terminated in April 2019, when he also announced his retirement from the entertainment industry.
