Following news on July 2 that Shinhwa's Minwoo had been accused of sexual harassment by two women, his agency Liveworks Company have issued a statement stating the incident was a misunderstanding.

Two women had made an official complaint against Minwoo, stating he had allegedly sexually harassed them in a bar in Gangnam. In their statement, Liveworks apologised for causing shock and disappointment with the news, and went on to say:

"...It was an incident that occurred out of a small misunderstanding at a gathering with acquaintances at a pojangmacha (tent bar). The involved parties have talked to each other and cleared up all misunderstandings. On reporting sexual harassment to the police when there was no sexual harassment, the other party will be withdrawing their complaint".

The company also stated that while there was no truth in the matter, Minwoo was still apologetic. They asked for people to refrain from spreading rumours now that the misunderstanding has been resolved.
