The Korean Film Festival in Australia is back for another year to showcase the best in Korean cinema to Australian audiences.
The festival will be heading to Sydney (22-31 August), Canberra (22-25 August), Brisbane (5-8 September) and Melbourne (5-12 September) with 22 films, of which 13 are being screened for the first time in Australia.
Some of the festival highlights include blockbusters like Bong Joon Ho's Cannes Palme d'Or-winning Parasite, action thriller Take Point starring The Handmaiden's Ha Jung Woo and wacky action comedy Extreme Job.
If you're looking for some famous faces, catch Hyun Bin in Joseon-era zombie flick Rampant, EXO's D.O in North Korea-set tap-dance drama Swing Kids, or B1A4's Jinyoung in body-swap comedy The Dude In Me.
Looking for something a bit more serious? There's the directorial debut of veteran actor Kim Yoon Seok, Another Child, and the latest from prolific auteur Hong Sang Soo, Hotel By The River.
The program is packed with dramas, documentaries, comedies and even animation. Check out the full program and book your tickets on the KOFFIA website.
