From the director of the acclaimed anime film Your Name, comes a new story to win your heart, Weathering With You.

The new film directed and written by Makoto Shinkai, follows Hodaka, who runs away from his remote island home to Tokyo in the summer of his high school freshman year. He struggles financially and lives his days in isolation, with the weather unusually gloomy and rainy every day. That is, until he finds work as a writer for a mysterious occult magazine. Then one day, Hokada meets Hina on a busy street corner. This bright and strong-willed girl possesses a strange and unbelievable ability: she can stop the rain and clear the sky.

With music from RADWIMPS too, you can bet this movie is going to hit you right in the heart just like Your Name! Watch the trailer below.
