INFINITE member L has announced he is departing Woollim Entertainment.

In a letter posted to his Instagram, he wrote that his contract with the agency came to an end last week and that he's chosen to branch out on his own. He added that he felt he needed a new challenge in his life and that this is the start of that challenge.

He also expressed his gratitude to fans for their support and added in regards to INFINITE: "I can continue with the INFINITE members, and I am going to do my best to be with the members at any place when I am needed".

See the full letter written in Korean below.

L debuted with INFINITE back in 2010. Originally a seven member group, they have been six since 2017, when Hoya left the group.
