BTS have taken home two awards at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards!

The seven-member K-pop boy group were nominated in five categories at the awards this year, including Best K-pop, Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction and Best Choreography for their song featuring Halsey, "Boy With Luv", as well as Best Group.

The Best K-pop category is new for 2019 with other nominees including BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love”, EXO’s “Tempo”, MONSTA X ft. French Montana’s “Who Do U Love”, NCT 127’s “Regular” and fellow Big Hit Entertainment group TXT’s “Cat & Dog”.

BTS also took home Best Group, winning over nominees 5 Seconds of Summer, Backstreet Boys, BLACKPINK, CNCO, Jonas Brothers, PRETTYMUCH and Why Don’t We.

BTS are currently on a brief holiday before their final Speak Yourself stadium concerts in October, so were not in attendance at the ceremony.

Congratulations BTS!
