BTS have broken records again with their third cinema release, Bring The Soul: The Movie.

Variety reported that the documentary sold 2.55 million tickets across 112 territories during its cinema run internationally. This breaks the record previously set by BTS themselves, with their first documentary feature Burn The Stage: The Movie, which set the record in November 2018 with a global box office intake of US$18.5 million (approx. AU$27.4 million).

According to film distributor Trafalgar Releasing, Bring The Soul: The Movie hit a gross box office of US$24.3 million (approx. AU$36 million) globally. The film also reached No.1 at the box office on opening weekend in the US and the UK.

Bring The Soul: The Movie had the widest release ever for an event cinema film, with it screening in over 5000 cinemas for a limited run internationally.
